HBP Camp Opening Ceremony held

 

        On August 31, 2014, HBP Camp Opening Ceremony was held at the HBP camp in Missan, Iraq. Geng Zhi, chairman of the Labor Union of China HBP Group and vice general manager of the project accompanied the leaders of CMIT, FOD and CNOOC for the ceremony.

        Following the opening ceremony, members of the project team showed the Chinese and Iraqi owners around the HBP camp. During the visit, the owners spoke highly of HBP's work results, were satisfied with HBP's barracks and auxiliary facilities, and expected to visit the camp often in the future.

        The success of the opening ceremony laid the groundwork for delivering barracks and collecting the payment for the project milestone, and put an end to HBP's camp construction over the past six months.
